Sydney impressions

Hej there!

This time, I have lots of pictures from Sydney and surroundings.
Just have a glance at them and enjoy because I go travelling soon!

At the last weekend before our exams, we decided to go to the Royal National Park. We got into the park with one of the old trams from San Franzisko(picture), Berlin or Munich.

Old tree

The Royal Nationalpark, located about 50mins by train from Central station in the south. Unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm when we were in the middle of our hiking trip.

Grays Point, the outlook was rather grey too...

Huge and aggressive ants, this one was about 2-3cm in length.

Sometimes the trees stood quite close which made it quite hard to go through easily.

Who is hiding there?! - Michael and Me.

Once we had to climb a little Rock of about 2-3 meters to pass a river. Here a professional Climber at work(Martin). =D

Banksia Plant

Back in Sydney at Central station.

Other day, Walking through a huge department store that was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Australia's biggest Apple shop, having three floors! When Steve Jobs died, there was a copius amount of flowers laid down in front of it.

A friend once cleaned up his room...=D

Sydney-Circular Quay, Twilight.

The biggest Cruiseship I've ever encountered!

During night, there was a amazing Christmas projection on the Town Hall of Sydney.

Rainy day in Sydney. Worst start into summer since 50 Years!

View on the Harbor Bridge coming from the North.

View on the opera house out of the train.

The Skyscrapers scratch the clouds.

St. Leonards, 10mins walk from the Residence. Located here was my gym, the Coles supermarket and the hairdresser.

Never before have I jumped out of the showers and got awake so fast. Reason for this was this wonderful Wolf spider, which is one of the Australias most venomous spiders and therefore one of the worlds most poisonous too.

Manly in the evening.

The Australian main post office.

Huge Christmas tree in the city centre.

Hyde Park and St. Mary's Cathedral.

Sydney tower, Hyde Park and St. Mary's Cathedral.

Hyde Park

Sydney tower is located just on the top of a huge Westfield shopping Centre.

On the Sydney tower, a beatiful day for a stunning 360-view over Sydney.

South, Hyde Park on the left.

South-east, Hyde Park, Bondi Junction on the upper left corner.

East, St. Mary's Cathedral and the harbor area going into the sea.

Botanic gardens and Manly in the far background.

North, harbor Bridge and St. Leonards

East, Darling harbor

QVB - Queen Victoria Building, located next to Town Hall(Further down George Street)

Inside QVB

The different floors of QVB.

My view out of my room at GVA.

Hope that Sydney left a highly positive impact on you as it did on me.
All the best,

Flo
