Manly Beach BBQ

Today was awesome. My class decided to go and have a BBQ at a small beach near the famous Manly Beach. So we set off and had a great day. By the way, weather's getting better and warmer all day. We feel that summer is coming soon! =) Enjoy! best regards. Flo

Actually I had the honour to help getting the drinks...So we took that helpful little "car" and drove our stuff along the Manly Beach (see picture) to our smaller (but also nicer) one.

There we coud see that the burgers were almost finished, so we were just in time. ;)

 We had a lot of fun while playing soccer, rugby and fresbee.

At the end we went home as the sun wanted to finish her the day as well...

The Blue Mountains

Hey folks!

Two friends of my class and me had decided to have a look at the "Blue Mountains" last week. Some people had also said it wouldn't be worth it. I did not expect "mountains" by the way. And that guess was actually true...they are just some big hills even though they have some nice cliffs. However we may call them now, we fully enjoyed our trip. This was mainly because of the hike we decided to have. We just wanted to leave the "path of tourists", which despite it's panoramic view did not overwhelm us. There were too many tourists (like us?). So we walked about 6-7h moretheless spontanously using different paths in the jungle and on the cliffs. We hardly saw any people. Finally we closed our circle and came back to Katoomba, where we started off. When looking back, we finally did take the right decision not to go to the "Wildlife Refuge", which should have been something like a zoo, where you can touch Koalas and Kangaroos. Like this, we saw a lot of real nature and enjoyed a distressing and beautiful day with lots of fun.
